About the game

You've got a deal! An almost perfect building in one of the biggest tourist and business cities in the world! It's the perfect start for a rental business because there are always plenty of candidates looking for a place to stay...

Only your management skills, ability to choose the right guests, and providing good service will determine whether it becomes a "Foolhouse" or a "Fullhouse"!

And don't forget, you need to earn money by the end of the season, which is only 4 weeks! Because Mr. Grey is no joke!

   

Controls

• WASD (or arrow keys) - Move around.
• E - Open inventory.
• RMB - Interact with everything. Interactables are marked with "!"
• LMB - Clear trash in the hall to remove the happiness debuff. You need to have a Broom or Mop in the active slot.
• Drag & Drop - Click once on any object in the inventory or storage to take it, and click another slot to place it.
• Throw Away - If you take an object from storage and click outside of the inventory (for example, on the floor), it will delete the item.
• Buy Item - Just click on it in the shop.
• Sell Item - Take it from the inventory by clicking, drag it over any shop slot, and click again.
• ESC - Pause menu.

   

Where to Start

First of all, you will have to read the introductory dialogue. After this, you can open the inventory and check out the app with the [i] icon. There will be help about the game.

You will get the first cleaning tools that the game requires, so you don't need to buy them.

The money in your account ($10,000) should be enough to furnish the first two rooms in the apartments. For this, you have to buy 5 pieces of furniture for each type of room: Entrance Room, Bathroom, Living Room, Kitchen, and Bedroom.

The shop is outside, just down on the map.

After you get the furniture, place it in each room. Places are marked as squares with hammers (RMB to interact).

When a room is ready, you will see that the marker with a house in front of the door has changed.

When you have at least one ready room, go to the Terminal and choose the "Start a New Week" option.

The work week will begin, and you will have 6 in-game days to place as many guests as possible to collect rent.

Interact with the room marker in front of the door to open the guests' window.

Look for guest potential payment and time to stay to make the right decisions. Also, don't forget that different guests have different preferences in styles, so if they hate the room, they will lose happiness and leave sooner. It will also affect your reputation!

Keep an eye on trash at the threshold so guests will not become disappointed by the dirtiness.

Pop-up messages will help you control which room is free.

By the end of the week, you will have a status window showing all the money you have earned. Time will stop to give you a chance to prepare for the new week; this is your weekend and prep day.

Final goal

You have to gain $50,000 in 4 weeks (or more if you get additional credit).

Mr. Grey will come to collect it and you will not be able to continue untill you've paid.

If you have a good or perfect reputation you will have something special, but if it's normal or bad - just pay.

   

Warnings (game in prototype)

• This prototype version will take 30-40 minutes to finish.
• Saves and loads are unavailable in this version.
• If something went wrong, it's better to just replay the game.
• Tutorials and UI are very weak parts of the game because they are still in progress.
• I am sorry for any discomfort and frustration you might experience while playing this game.
• I hope the game will be finished and polished in the future, but for now, it is as it is...
